Coverage rating of 80 cubic feet or 12 square feet of cigar storage space — comfortably exceeds the interior volume of the 48 × 16 × 72 cigar humidor cabinet (≈32 cu ft) so a single unit can hold target humidity in a fully-stocked cabinet. Compliance & Notes

Always run cigar humidors at 65-72% relative humidity — over-humidification swells cigars and damages labels, under-humidification dries them out. Refill water reservoir on the manufacturer-recommended schedule; running the unit dry can damage the pump. Use the water-quality treatment or filter the manufacturer specifies; hard water and minerals will scale the heating element over time. Inspect the seals on the cabinet doors quarterly — a leaky cabinet forces the humidifier to overwork and burns out the motor.
